Lazy Tree is the absolute passion of the Brits who have invested enormous time, energy and money into creating a holiday destination that is almost dream-like and a haven from the rest of the world; somewhere to relax, have fun and live a little.
Furnished by a professional Interior Designer Lazy Tree’s furnishings have been hand-picked for their suitability and beauty, nothing has been forgotten in their quest to create somewhere that is nothing short of extraordinary. The end result is a lovely home of contemporary elegance and oozing European sophistication.
Lazy Tree provides 4 bedrooms, all with en-suite and walk in closet, and two of the bedrooms are Master Suites – both looking due south across the 8,000 feet wide Calooshatchee River. On the first floor the rooms feature cathedral ceilings, fully insulated (not just space under air). The L-shape living room opens to the kitchen and extends to some 37’ x 36’, as well as which there is a dining and a relaxation lanai, (a lanai is a roofed veranda) both of which overlook the pool and the river.
Swim in the 36’ x 16’ all-year-round pool (solar heated, and with supplementary electric heat pump, fully screened and with electrically-operated safety cover); and then perhaps take a glass of wine. Or if it takes your fancy, hire a boat – it’s just 20 or so minutes to the Gulf of Mexico. Catch your dinner then back home to sit on the 25’ x 15’ upper floor, south-facing deck sip another glass of wine and watch the sun glistening before it sets on the mile-wide Calooshatchee River.
Outside there is also a driveway for parking, as well as a 20’ x 20’ garage – plenty of room for your open-top sports car and MPV.
This fallen tree on the plot in 2008 gave rise to the name “Lazy Tree”.
